A GOOD $5 beer is now available at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The stadium is teaming up with Avondale Estates' Wild Heaven Beer to bring the ATL Pale Ale to fans. It made its debut at Sunday's Atlanta Falcons-Carolina Panthers game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

You almost can’t get a good craft beer for $5 anywhere, nowadays. But as of Sunday, you CAN get one at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The stadium is teaming up with Avondale Estates’ Wild Heaven Beer to bring the ATL Pale Ale to fans. It made its debut at Sunday’s Atlanta Falcons-Carolina Panthers game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“My hope with this beer is to offer amazing flavor that surprises and delights anyone who likes beer,” said Eric Johns, Wild Heaven Beer's co-founder and brewmaster. “We know fans are there for the action, and a beer should only enhance the experience.”

The pale ale has 5% ABV (Alcohol by Volume), so you can consider it a session beer, meaning you can enjoy several over the course of several hours without getting too tipsy. Compare that to a mainstream, non-craft beer, which usually has an ABV of around 4%.

“We are honored to make this beer for fans in Atlanta. Beer is the drink of the people, and we’re excited that this collaboration can bring craft beer to tens of thousands of new fans in a thrilling environment,” said Wild Heaven Beer co-founder Nick Purdy.

ATL Pale Ale is part of Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s “fan friendly pricing” campaign. They sell hot dogs, candy and popcorn for $2. Peanuts come in at $3. For $4 you can get a soda in a souvenir cup. Stadium officials announced last month they wanted to include a local craft beer at a fan friendly pricing. That’s where Wild Heaven came in.
