JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Police have taken two suspects, who were barricaded, nearby Long Indian Creek Court, into custody.
According to Johns Creek Police spokesperson Christopher Byers, authorities received reports of shots fired in the area of 10065 Old Woodland Entry around 10:30 a.m.
Responding officers found that a gun shot had been fired into a home at that address. The suspected gunmen then fled with another person, police said.
Investigators determined the suspect's identity because of a run-in he allegedly had with the victim over a debt that the suspect claimed was owed to him, police said.
Moments later, officers spotted the suspect, identified as Brandon Jones, at a house on Long Indian Creek Court in Alpharetta, Ga.
The Alpharetta SWAT team assisted the Johns Creek Police Department in working to take Jones, who was barricaded inside a home in the cul-de-sac of the neighborhood, into custody.
Jones and the second suspect were later apprehended. Jones is facing aggravated assault charges.
The second suspect, who has not been identified, is also facing possible charges.
