AUSTELL, Ga. — Police are investigating after three people were found shot near a popular Atlanta area amusement park on Friday.

According to Cobb County Police spokesperson Neil Penirelli, the shooting happened at 300 Riverside Parkway around 5 p.m. The scene appears to have been at or near an apartment complex located about a mile from Six Flags Over Georgia.

All three victims were conscious when taken to the hospital, police said, thought their exact condition is unknown.

Penirelli said the investigation is still ongoing and he was unsure if investigators had identified a possible suspect. He did, however, confirm that police do not yet have anyone in custody for the shooting.
