STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — UPDATE: Police have made an arrest in this incident.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Gwinnett Police homicide unit is investigating a body that was found inside a crashed vehicle early Thursday morning.
The man was discovered inside a car on Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain. Neighbors called 911 to report the car that crashed into their yard sometime between 4:30 and 5 a.m., police said.
First responders found a single gunshot wound to his body. Police do not know where the shooting took place, they said.
On Friday, police identified the victim as 46-year-old Don Wardlaw of Stone Mountain.
