ATLANTA -- Atlanta police are investigating after a Buckhead neighborhood sandwich shop was robbed at gunpoint.
Detectives are still in the midst of their investigation but were able to confirm that the Jimmy John's at 2450 Piedmont Rd. NE was robbed Tuesday evening.
Police spokesperson Stephanie Brown told 11Alive that information, so far, shows that a man armed with a gun entered the business and demanded the worker empty the business's safe.
Luckily, no injuries were reported. Police have not yet released any details on the suspect or surveillance footage to assist in his capture.
