DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Douglas County deputies are investigating the death of a woman after her body was found Friday morning.
The Douglas County Sheriff Office said they received a call around 8 a.m. about a body off the roadway at West Union Hill and Ephesus Church roads.
When law enforcement arrived, they found a deceased woman's body in the area. Investigators were called to process the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
