DECATUR, Ga. - An investigation is underway after officers found three men shot outside of a residence in DeKalb County early Monday morning.
At 12:45 a.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Monterey Drive for reports of at least one male shot. When they arrived, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds; two had wounds to their abdomen and one had wounds on their side.

According to police, one of the residents, being referred to as Unc’, says that once the third man arrived to the residence an altercation ensued and two of the men started to argue.
Unc’ tried to break up the fight which led to both males and himself getting shot.
Skip Clark, who had been living in the neighborhood for less than a month, recalls hearing at least three gunshots.
"He said 'call 9-1-1 Skip, I've been shot,'" Skip says Unc' called out to him for help after shots rang out.
At least two weapons were found at the scene and the men were in their 30s or 40s. All three are expected to survive however one of them is in serious condition.
This incident is still under investigation at this time.
