DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Authorities released body camera video of the incident where an AMR employee hit a patient inside of an ambulance.

11Alive blurred the face of the patient and the face of a student who was there shadowing the EMTs that day.

The officers were called as backup for AMR as the EMTs responded to Saturday's medical call. The incident then broke out while they were still at the scene.

When the clip starts, you can see the employee, Deannah Williams, through the window of the ambulance becoming violent. The doors of the ambulance open and you see authorities removing her.

The 17-year-old patient, who is sitting in the stretcher, is handcuffed behind his back. The medics were getting ready to take him to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

The incident report indicates he became agitated once he learned that he was about to be transported. They said he spit on Williams as she was trying to put a spit mask on his face.

"Oh, I'm going to tell my parents about that. Straight up," the patient says.

In one of the clips, you can hear the officer speaking to Williams after the pull her out of the ambulance.

"That is a kid. That is a child. A 17-year-old child," the officer said.

"I don't give an [expletive] You spit on me," she said.

"What are you doing? I get spit on all the time, you don't...this is your job. You do this for a living," the officer said.

"I understand, but you not going to spit on me," she said.

"It doesn't matter," he said.

"Yes it does," Williams said.

"This is your job. If you don't like people spitting on you, then quit," he said.

AMR released a statement Wednesday saying Williams no longer works for them.
