Leah Tompkins loves cats, Disney princesses and to clean her room. She's a precocious 7-year-old who is also one of Make-A-Wish Georgia's Kid Ambassadors.
Leah, who struggles with Sickle Cell, is one of nearly 7,000 children in Georgia who has had her wish granted through Make-A-Wish. The Georgia non-profit works to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses and currently has 700 kids waiting for their wish to come true.
Here's Melissa Long's conversation with Leah, her father Alonzo Tompkins and the CEO of Make-A-Wish Georgia, Tim Earley.
