Where are the feminine products at the Benz?

One guest at the stadium said she was surprised to find no feminine hygiene products inside the bathrooms of the billion-dollar stadium.

ATLANTA — On game day in Atlanta, tens of thousands of soccer or football fans attend games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Many of them are women.

11Alive is where is Atlanta speaks. One woman told us she was surprised to find no feminine hygiene products inside the bathrooms of the billion-dollar stadium. When Cassie Tye asked stadium employees about it, their answer shocked her.

"They said they hadn't seen any anywhere. They didn't know of anywhere in the stadium that would sell them," Tye said. "They even checked in some of their storage areas and didn't have any."

"They said they asked before to see if management could have those installed, and that it had never been taken seriously and nothing's really been done about it," she continued.

11Alive reached out the Benz. They said they have feminine hygiene products available and free of charge at all guest services locations, but our emails to them made the Benz aware that signage is needed to tell female guests where to find the products.

The Benz added it is looking to install vending machines to offer products in select ladies rooms, though it's not clear why the vending machines would only be in select restrooms, or why employees were not aware of where to direct guests on where to find them.
