GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Police say a woman is dead after being hit by a train in Hall County early Thursday morning.
Investigators with the Gainesville Police Department said the victim was a pedestrian and was hit in the area of Georgia Avenue but had few other details. In the meantime, they are asking motorists to use other routes since roads in the immediate area will be blocked.
