ATLANTA — Preliminary investigation suggests that a victim found behind a southeast Atlanta gas station may have been beaten to death.
Billy Bethune's head showed signs of blunt-force trauma when he was found near a convenience store just off of I-20 at 371 Boulevard SE, according to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department. Investigators are still working to determine the details of the incident and identify a suspect.
In the meantime, they're asking anyone with information about the crime to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477 (TIPS) or report online to be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
