Police Chief Kenny Dodd said on Sunday, officers were called to Van Wert Elementary School.

An officer K9 alerted police that the janitor, Georgia Cook, 49, had possible narcotics in her vehicle.

When searched, police found methamphetamine, pipes with residue and scales.

Officers also found Cook was carrying a gun.

Cook was arrested and taken to Polk County Jail. She faces multiple charges including possession of methamphetamine, possess/manufacture/distribute controlled substance or marijuana within 1,000 feet of schools, and possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.
