Jimbo Fisher has officially stepped down as head coach of Florida State University and accepted head coaching position at Texas A&M University.
Jimbo Fisher has resigned as FSU's coach and will be named the new coach at Texas A&M, sources told ESPN. He will not coach in Saturday's regular-season finale against Louisiana-Monroe. FSU is planning a news conference for this afternoon

Rumors of him becoming the head football coach at Texas A&M University have been stirring for days now.
There is also a Texas A&M Board of Regents meeting scheduled for Monday at 9 am to, “Negotiate and Execute Employment Contract with Head Football Coach.”
