Kennesaw State officers issue safety alert about man who allegedly exposed himself to student

The student described the man and officers searched the area for him, but they didn't find anyone who matched the description.

KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State University Police are making the student body aware of an incident where a man allegedly exposed himself to a student.

The police department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that according to a student, a man propositioned her and exposed himself. It allegedly happened Monday night on the Kennesaw campus near the Visual Arts Building. 

The student described the man and officers searched the area for him, but they didn't find anyone who matched the description. 

KSU Police are reminding students to park in well-lit areas, use well-lit walkways, and to lock their doors to residences and vehicles. They also want students to report suspicious behavior.

Anyone who has information about this specific case is asked to call the KSU Police Department at 470-578-6666 or 470-578-6305. Students, staff and faculty may use the LiveSafe App to report any information and to request assistance from the KSU Police Department.
