Two men say they heard gunshots before being struck in LaGrange

One victim was shot in the chest and the other was shot in the leg.

LAGRANGE, Ga. — Police say two men reported hearing gunshots before they were struck by bullets. 

At around 8:30 p.m., officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to 1183 Whitesville Street in reference to a person shot. 

Steven Mills, 42, and Clyde Jordan, 55, said they heard gunshots before they were struck. Mills was shot once in the chest and Jordan was shot once in the leg. 

Mills was transported to a Columbus hospital for treatment. Jordan was transported to the West Georgia Medical Center where he was treated and released. 

Police do not have any known suspects at this time.
