COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the Lamborghini driver who was killed in a high-speed wreck after the Super Bowl, Sunday.

Preliminary investigation suggests that 36-year-old Joseph Allen Graves of Boonville, Missouri was behind the wheel of the 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo when it entered the eastbound ramp to I-285 from Cobb Parkway.

Police said the car rapidly accelerated and Graves attempted to enter the I-75 southbound ramp. However, Graves failed to stay on the road while maneuvering around the curve and left the road before striking a tree.

The crash caused extensive damage to the car and sparked a fire. Graves, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
