LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Police need help to identify three suspects who allegedly distracted an elderly woman and stole her wallet.
Video released shows a young woman in black tights following very closely behind an accomplice with her cart and grabbing various pieces of produce. You can then see one of the suspects approaching the victim very closely from behind as she is preoccupied with getting groceries and carefully taking something from off her person.
The suspects then reconvened near the produce and ambled around some more before exiting the security camera’s view.
Police believe the three suspects worked together to distract the elderly woman and steal her wallet.
