GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- A man convicted of child molestation and incest will have to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

In October 2016, a 15-year-old girl told her sister McClure, a trusted family member, had been molesting her since she was 10 years old. The sister alleged McClure did the same to her when she was 13 years old.

According to the district attorney's office, the girls told their mother and he was removed from the home. A police report was filed months later. At trial, both girls offered emotional testimony about their abuse and identified McClure without hesitation.

The district attorney's office said text messages, a phone call, and emails were presented during the four-day trial as evidence. Officials said McClure allegedly admitted he was going to die in prison, admitting various sexual acts and apologizing to the girls.

The jury found him guilty of all counts, including aggravated sexual battery and aggravated child molestation.
