Man escapes to get help after being shot

Police say the victim was found shot at a gas station that he escaped to to find help.

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Police say a man was left with life-threatening injuries after a late-night shooting.

According to the City of South Fulton Police Department, officers responded to calls of a person shot at a Shell gas station off Lynmark Way, just before midnight, Feb. 27.

But police said they believe the scene of the crime actually happened a few miles away, in the 8000 block of South Fulton Parkway. The victim, who still has not been identified, then drove to Lynmark Way for help.

At this time, detectives are investigating the incident, but don't have any updates on a possible suspect, or the victim's condition.
