Teen charged with arson after allegedly setting fires on county government property

MARIETTA, Ga. — A 15-year-old is facing second-degree arson charges after authorities say he set fires to a semi-tractor trailer and water tanker on government property.

On June 17, the teenager trespassed onto the Cobb County Department of Transportation property off County Services Parkway in Marietta. 

Authorities believe the teen intentionally set the fires. 

Police are asking anyone with information relative to this incident to call (770) 499-3869.
