A woman’s body was found in a wooded area in Marietta and police say the death is suspicious, according to Marietta Police.
Officers found the body near the intersection at Bells Ferry Road and Cobb Parkway North early on Feb. 12 while conducting an unrelated investigation, according to police.
Investigators were called in and the preliminary report from the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the woman’s death as suspicious. The woman has been identified as 57-year-old Kelly Albertson of Marietta.
Police have released her photo hoping that someone recognizes her and might be able to help the investigation into what caused her death.
