ATLANTA — Atlanta police responded to a shooting near a metro Atlanta shopping center Thursday evening.
Officials said one person is dead and a suspect is in custody near the West Ridge shopping center on 3450 MLK Drive JR SW.
11Alive Skytracker was on the scene earlier. You can see part of the road was blocked off in the area.
According to APD, the victim and suspect were involved in an argument prior to the shooting.
APD said the investigation remains active. Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim.
