BARNESVILLE, Ga. — Authorities are searching for a man who disappeared Saturday night after telling his children he was going to check his work schedule.

In a message shared late Sunday, officials said Roderick Crawford went missing from his home on Howard Road in Barnesville after telling his children he was heading to Grain Craft Flour Mill at 347 Industrial Road to check his schedule. That was at 7 p.m. Friday and, days later, he's still missing.

The only other contact the family has had with Crawford was a missed call to his wife. A notice shows that all attempts to return the call have gone to voicemail. He was apparently driving a white 2008 Dodge Nitro when he left home.

The missing person alert has since been shared by other agencies, including the Spalding County Sheriff's Office. However, those who have information on the missing man's location are asked to call the Lamar County Sheriff's Office at 770-358-5159.
