Deputies search for 85-year-old diabetic man in need of medicine

CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. -- The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for an elderly man who left his home around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday and hasn't returned.

The sheriff's office said 85-year-old Dwight Hubble Durham lives in the area of Claire Drive and Central High Road. And it was in that area that neighbors report last seeing him. 

The sheriff's office said in a post that they are concerned for Durham's welfare since he is diabetic and needs his medication. He also has no cell phone and his family is worried about him.

When he went missing, Durham was wearing dark pants and a blue plaid shirt. He's about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds. Anyone who sees him is asked to call the sheriff's office at 770-830-5916 or contact emergency operators by dialing 911.
