GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Andrew Carter was located Sunday morning. Police said he was found in good health not far from his residence.

Gwinnett Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 84-year-old man missing most of Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said that Andrew Carter as last seen in the Snellville area on Tullamore Circle around noon on Saturday. Police said he suffers from dementia. Authorities believe he was walking - not driving - when he went missing.

Carter is described as a black male who is about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue pants and a purple shirt. Residents in the area of Centerville Highway have reported seeing Carter since he went missing.

His disappearance has spurred a Mattie's Call which is a state alert specifically for disabled or elderly people who have gone missing.
