CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 30-year-old man. 

Police said Xavier Jones was last seen Thursday night around 10 p.m off Johnson Road in Forest Park. His sister noticed he was missing when she returned from the store to get him a sleep aide. 

Jones was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and has been off his medication for two weeks, according to officials. 

Authorities described Jones as 5'9", 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers. 

Anyone with information regarding Jones whereabouts is asked to contact the Clayton County Police Department or dial 911.
