Man without medication missing in Clayton County

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities in Clayton County are on the lookout for a missing man after he left his residence without telling anyone where he might be going.

Police said 37-year-old David Gadson was last seen in the 5900 block of HIghway 85 in the Riverdale area on Tuesday. He's described as a black male who is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. 

Before his disappearance, police said Gadson was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black shorts and blue tennis shoes. Police said he suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He is also without his medication.

The search for Gadson has led to a Mattie's Call - Georgia's statewide alert for missing elderly people and those with disabilities.
