Mattie's Call issued for missing 82-year-old man

Police say 82-year-old Sam Frasier has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Clayton County are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 82-year-old man.

Authorities issued a Mattie's Call for Sam Frasier Sept. 9, 2018 around 2 p.m. after the 82-year-old left his home near the 8300 Block of Creek Street in Jonesboro.

Investigators said Frasier left his home on foot, but they don't know which direction he went.

Police say Frasier has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

He was last seen wearing a black hat that reads “retired," a blue in color jacket that says, “Las Vegas," a red plaid shirt, brown plaid slacks and sandals.

Frasier is described as an 82-year-old black man who is 5'11" tall, weighs 111 lbs, and has brown eyes and gray/white hair.

Anyone who may have information on where Fraiser could be is asked to contact the Clayton County Police Department, or to dial 911.
