NEWTON COUNTY, GA. — The Newton County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a Covington man last seen at a Conyers Hospital.
Matthew Cole, 55, was last seen at the Rockdale Piedmont Hospital in Conyers around 7 a.m. Monday morning. He was also seen in the area of Broken Branch Court in Covington around 2 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, Cole was at the hospital to be checked out after taking a fall, however, when he left the hospital, no one saw who he left with.
Matthew Cole has been diagnosed with dementia and also has cancer. He is currently without his medication and is believed to be in danger without it. Cole also has trouble walking.
Anyone with information on Mr. Cole's whereabouts is asks to contact 911 immediately.
