12-year-old girl found safe in Douglas County, sheriff says

The Douglas County Sheriff said she has been located.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Update: The sheriff's office said the 12-year-old girl has been found safe.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 12-year-old girl.

Alvonna Webb was last seen in the area of Chapel Hill Middle School off Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville. Webb has been diagnosed with autism, according to the sheriff's office. 

Law enforcement activity can be seen in the area as deputies look for her, the sheriff's office said. 

Anyone who sees Alvonna Webb is asked to call Captain Trent Wilson with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at (678) 860-3366.
