Clayton County teen goes missing, urgently needs medicine, police say

Anyone with information on where Nevaeh Williams is should call Clayton County Police.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County Police are urgently searching for a 15-year-old girl who went missing on Sunday afternoon and needs important medication.

The police department said that around 4:30 p.m. Nevaeh Williams ran away from home in the area of 7300 block of Ledgestone Lane near Riverdale Georgia. 

Police said Williams has bipolar disorder and depression and that she takes medication for both conditions. Police said in their alert that this is why it's urgent that Williams is found as soon as possible.

Her disappearance has also been classified as a statewide Mattie's Call alert, which is reserved for the elderly and those with conditions that put their safety at risk.

She is described as a black female with brown eyes and black hair. She is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 110 pounds. At the time she went missing, Williams was wearing a red Champion shirt and blue jeans.
