Police search for missing teen in black who disappeared Friday

16-year-old Nicholas Holden Martin hasn't been seen since Friday.

WOODSTOCK, Ga. — Police in a Cherokee County town are putting out an alert for a missing teen not seen in several hours.

Authorities said that 16-year-old Nicholas Holden Martin, nicknamed "Niko" was last seen in Woodstock, Georgia on Friday wearing dark gray jeans, a black t-shirt, a black hoodie and carrying a black bookbag. He was walking at the time.

Police aren't sure where Martin is and have only referred to him as a missing teen - and not a runaway.

Authorities also haven't said what part Woodstock he was last seen in or what, if anything, they believe led up to his disappearance.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call Woodstock Police at 770-592-6000.
