Riverdale teenager with schizophrenia missing

Police said he was wearing green hospital scrubs (shirt and pants) and black Nike flip flops.

RIVERDALE, Ga. — The Riverdale Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenager who suffers from schizophrenia. 

18-year-old Kentarius Townsend was last seen around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said he was seen walking from Home Stay Suites off highway 85. 

Townsend is described as a black male around 6'0", 200 pounds with brown eyes and hair. He has a low afro and a distinct surgical scar on the back of his head. Police said he was wearing green hospital scrubs (shirt and pants) and black Nike flip flops. 

If anyone has information on Townsend's whereabouts please contact 911 or the Riverdale Police Department at 770-909-5423.
