Floyd County Police say 16-year-old Mariah Thorp has been missing for several days.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Floyd County are on the lookout for a missing teen as some of the most frigid weather of the year so far sets in.

According to police, 16-year-old Mariah Thorp was last seen Thursday at Rome High School wearing a beige jacket with medium-colored jeans and brown ankle boots.

Police haven't reported any further clues regarding her disappearance or if they believe she ran away; however, they describe her as an endangered child.

Now several days after her disappearance, north Georgia is expecting extremely cold temperatures in the overnight hours.

Anyone with information about Thorp is asked to provide it on the Floyd County Police Department Facebook page or contact Sgt. Misty Pledger. The department can be contacted directly at 706-235-7766.
