TEMPLE, Ga. — Police are asking for help in an unusual missing persons case.
The Temple Police Department is looking for a missing mini pig that wandered off earlier this week.
According to a Facebook post by the department, the mini pig was last seen at the U-Haul office off Villa Rosa Road.
The pig - a family pet - reportedly goes out every day to eat grass, but didn't return from her last trip. She's been missing now, for the last few days.
Calls have been made to the Humane Society, but they have not helped turn up new information.
Police say the mini pig has special needs that require medication that she can't do without.
Of anyone has seen the mini pig, they're asked to contact the Temple Police Department. There is a reward for her safe return.
