Police searching for missing man with mental health issues

Tirrell Hobson has been missing since Feb. 16 around 8 p.m.

FOREST PARK, Ga. – Clayton County police are searching for a man with reported mental health issues.

Tirrell Hobson has been missing since Feb. 16 around 8 p.m. when he left his residence in the 4400 block of Richard Road in Forest Park. Hobson has not been seen or heard from since, according to police.

Clayton County Police said Hobson is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and Early Onset Dementia.

Hobson is described as a 44-year-old black male who is five feet six inches tall, weighs 156 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.

Police said he does have a history of leaving home but usually returns a few days later.
