UPDATE: Missing woman with dementia reunited with family

She was found by officers with Gwinnett's central precinct.

DULUTH, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police say a 70-year-old woman who was reported missing near Duluth has been found.

Sophia Arrendondo went missing on Wednesday at her home off of Dogwood Creek Parkway, police said.

Arrendondo, who police said suffers from dementia, just moved there from out of state and is unfamiliar with the area. However, police have since confirmed that she has been found in the area of Church Street and Buford Highway by Central Precinct patrol officers.
