ATLANTA - Dozens of people were evacuated from their condos after an early morning fire broke out in a high-rise in Midtown.

According to Atlanta Fire, firefighters fought flames on the eighteenth floor of The Plaza Midtown located on 950 W. Peacthree St. NW at 2:45 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they started to evacuate all residents from the building and were able to contain the fire to the balcony and to the unit where it all started.

No one was injured in the fire and investigations into what started it are ongoing.
