ATLANTA - A man was shot in the ankle after getting into a fight at a popular club in Atlanta.
The victim said he got into an altercation with another black male at Encore Lounge located at 375 Luckie Street.
When the fight fizzled out, the victim proceeded to go to his car on 355 Marietta Street, a block away from the Encore Lounge, which is also known as Luckie Lounge or Suite Food Lounge.
Police said the suspect followed the victim to his car and stated, "You thought this was over, didn't you?" He then shot the victim in his right ankle and fled the scene in a red vehicle.
The victim told police he did not know the suspect prior to the altercation and the only description he could provide was that he was a black male with a black gun.
This incident is still under investigation.
