GDOT wants input on construction detour in Forsyth County

Public meeting December 3, 2019, from 5 - 7 pm at Chestatee Elementary School.

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Transportation is asking for the public's help in creating a detour route for a culvert replacement project on Highway 306 near Cantrell Road.

The meeting is being held at Chestatee Elementary School Tuesday, December 3 from 5 - 7 pm. The proposed project consists of replacing the culvert in its current location with a culvert that is 7 feet wide by 8 feet high.

The planned detour route during the construction phase will also be presented at the meeting. GDOT will have comment cards available for those who wish to provide feedback on the route. Online comments can also be made at: http://www.dot.ga.gov/AboutGDOT/PublicOutreach
