Surrender your sweets for a good cause

Family & Cosmetic Dental Care in Cumming hosts 10th Annual Halloween Candy Buy Back.

CUMMING, Ga. — Cumming's Family Dentist is trying to help rid parents and children of excess sweets while giving back to Operation Gratitude.

Their 10th Annual Halloween Candy Buy Back kicked off this week and will go through tomorrow, November 7th. Located off of Peachtree Pkwy in Suawannee, the dentist office is collecting unopened candy and paying a dollar a pound (up to five pounds).

The candy will be sent to American servicemen and women overseas through Operation Gratitude. Office staff are asking children and families to write a note to the troops to accompany the sweets.

The collection will be taken up at 4pm on Thursday.
