CUMMING, Ga. — Delays could be possible along High 369 at Browns Bridge Road as the Georgia Department of Transportation pours concrete substructures for a new bridge.
The closures are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday, Dec. 2, through Friday, Dec. 6. The work is weather permitting.
The new bridge is scheduled to be completed by Spring of 2020. The Lake Lanier bridge at the Hall-Forsyth County line stretches over the Chattahoochee River in Lake Lanier. The $27 million updated bridge will replace the former bridge which was built in the 1950s.
