EAST POINT, Ga. — East Point Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect involved in a series of home invasions in the Heritage Park subdivision.
Investigators say the first incident happened earlier this month around 1:30 a.m. Residents say they woke to find a silhouette of an unknown man in their hallway. The suspect fled the home once he realized others noticed he was in the home, according to police.
Days later, another resident nearby reported they were also awakened by an intruder. Two women in the home said the unknown man stared at them, then fled. The homeowner also says they noticed a screen on a door missing.
The suspect is described as a black male, low haircut, blue shirt with red and blue colors, and wearing blue jeans.
