EAST POINT, Ga. — “I wanted to do something that was going to be whimsical and fun but also give back to our community,” says Tutu Girly owner / operator KaVon Arnold. The East Point native has been sponsoring community involved events since relocating her business back to East Point earlier this year. “I chose canned goods because there are so many families that literally survive off of food banks.”

Partygoers included friends, family, sorority sisters and other local entrepreneurs.  Everyone in the crowd flaunted their ‘ugliest’ sweaters from pink flamingoes, light-up T-Rexes to makeshift Christmas tree skirts full decked out in Christmas décor.

“This time of year it’s very important to do what you can and give back to those less fortunate,” adds guest and friend of the host, Ayavis Womble.

All those attending enjoyed the event that featured all-night door prizes, refreshments, a live DJ as well as a grand prize of a room at the Hilton for the ‘ugliest’ sweater in attendance.
