EAST POINT, Ga. — Deron Singh, the owner of Truthful Soul Yoga, says he held private sessions for years in the East Point area before opening his studio Monday.
“Many said they wanted to experience group classes, but didn’t have many options,” said Singh.
Singh says his clients' frustration led him to create a space where more can practice the technique.
“People have busy lifestyles, but we want them to have a chance to appreciate themselves in this way without having to drive several miles away,” said Singh.
Currently, there are only a couple of yoga studios listed in the Tri-Cities area. However, Singh doesn’t feel it will stay that way for long.
“I’m noticing everyone in this area truly has a desire to become healthier, and I feel we’ll start seeing even more studios soon which is great,” said Singh.
