EAST POINT, Ga. — Dozens who’ve made an impact in the community were recognized during the inaugural Heart of East Point awards, Friday.
The event, created by City Councilmembers Stephanie Gordon and Nanette Saucier, was held at the Four Points Hotel in East Point.
Saucier said they realized so many give their time and effort to East Point, yet they don’t receive a formal “thank you.”
