Burglars steal thousands of dollars in power tools and electronics

Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole $28,000 in telecommunications equipment and another $1,000 in power tools.

According to the burglary unit, officers responded to a commercial burglary at Infinity Construction in Burford on April 3. During the early morning hours, a suspect can be seen on video cutting the fence and using ladders to climb over the barbed wire. Once inside the suspect stole $24,000 in motors used for cellphone tower construction, $4,000 in wiring, and another $1,000 in construction equipment.
