On their way to the big game, Budweiser's famous horses stopped in Gwinnett County.

SUGAR HILL, Ga. — Hundreds of people crowded the Kroger parking lot in Sugar Hill off of Cumming Highway to see the Budweiser Clydesdales, Wednesday afternoon.

The Clydesdales are making their way to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII. Some families, like Donna Waters and her family, traveled as far as an hour out to see what some might call majestic creatures.

“I saw somebody post that they were coming out to Gwinnett County and I was like, 'OK, I am Googling where they’re going to be,'” Waters said.

The energetic crowd watched in amazement as the Budweiser’s full hitch circled around the parking lot. Some seen it as an opportunity of a lifetime, others were just grateful the massive horses made a stop in Gwinnett County as they head to Atlanta.

Caroly Digiandomenico, brought her young granddaughter out to see the Clydesdales for the first time ever.

“The family, we’re die hard fans from Pittsburg, living down here now. My son, he said get on over there and see those Clydesdales. Show the baby what it’s all about,” Digiandomenico said.

There will be on Clydesdale making an appearance in Norcross on Thursday at 3pm.
