Gwinnett comes together to show the community they care

Website launched for residents to find ways to help during the outbreak of the coronavirus disease

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A new website has been launched to help Gwinnett residents feel connected during the coronavirus.

GwinnettCares.org was announced Friday as the “go-to webpage” for information about resources available to residents and ways to help out their community. The site was launched by the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia in partnerships with Gwinnett County government and schools, and several other non-profits.

The site is broken down into three sections including supplies and donations, volunteer opportunities, relief funds, and additional ways to receive and give assistance to families and the elderly. In addition, the site also contains a section of resources for local businesses and those in need of transportation.
